Mission Statement
Recovery Unlimited Treatment Center strongly believes in the disease
concept of
chemical
dependency, that
opiate dependent
persons have-due
to long use of
opiates—developed
a deficiency of
natural
endorphins that
causes a
profound
sickness,
manifested as a
defined
constellation of
symptoms
referred to as
“acute
withdrawal
syndrome”. This
syndrome is best
treated with
methadone or
Suboxone, which
restores the
chemical
imbalance in the
brain and allows
opiate dependent
persons to
function
normally without
the use of
other opiates.
It is our
mission to treat
as many opiate
dependent
persons as
humanly
possible,
educate the
general public
about the
disease concept
of chemical
dependency, and
to help remove
the stigma
attached to
chemically
dependent
persons.
